The Hong Kong Disneyland has come under the limelight recently after a mother claimed that her daughter was nearly kidnapped when she was in the entertainment center. With this, Hong Kong Disneyland has pledged that the safety of their guests are the top priority and that they will be put whatever measured needed to ensure that.

HK Disneyland said that they are now attending to the claims and are trying to understand the situation to decide what they could do next. Ms Gigi wrote a letter recently that during a visit to the park on June 21, 2 women had tried to kidnap her daughter. When she and her husband took their eyes off their daughter for a moment, she just disappeared. After some frantic searching for 5 minutes, they managed to locate their 5 year old with 2 women who were acting suspiciously.

HK Disneyland said that they were informed of the incident 6 days after it occurred and hence it would be difficult to take much action as it would have been easier if they have reported on the day itself. He meanwhile clarified that there has not been any reports of missing children since the park began operations in 2005.
